Library is considered to be soul of any academic institution and it plays a very important role in the field of education. Education and library are adjoined together; one cannot be separated from another. As a focal point for teaching, learning, and research, library is expected to provide standard information resources. Law library is aptly referred as heart and soul of any educational institution imparting legal education. D.E.S's Shri. Navalmal Firodia Law College (DES SNFLC) is the hub of all library activities established to accomplish the research and academic objective of the college. It is located in the second floor of the D.E.S's Shri. Navalmal Firodia Law College (DES SNFLC) building giving access to its rich and paramount collection of primary and secondary Legal Resources to its entire user’s community. Keeping in view of its vital role, the library is being constantly augmented by the acquisition of latest books, journals and electronic resources.

The Inauguration of the library extension in third floor having a seating capacity of 100 students was inaugurated by Dr. Abhay Firodiya, Chairman, Force Motors on 17th February, 2012.

Books:

The library has a collection of over 13,270 books that supplement the curriculum course content and relevant to the research areas. “Libraries are not made: they grow” proving the statement made by A. Birrel D.E.S's Shri. Navalmal Firodia Law College (DES SNFLC) Library collection is increasing year after year alluring students to make use of the rich collection. The library purchases all books which are recommended readings in the University prescribed syllabus.

Books on soft skill and personality development, Philosophy, fiction and non-fiction, etc. in English and Marathi language are available to enhance the reading habit among the students and to develop their personality, soft skills and communication skills.

Journals:

The Periodicals section is a vital source for academic research and up-to-date information on related subjects and latest judgments of various courts. D.E.S's Shri. Navalmal Firodia Law College (DES SNFLC) library provides a good compilation of Law Reports, National and International Journals. Library subscribes to 18 Law Reporters, 15 International Journals, 16 National Journals and 18 General Magazines.
