Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil Earn and Learn Scheme

• Note:

Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil Earn and Learn Scheme is implemented by the Students’ Development Cell of the College under the approval and guidelines of Board of Students’ Development of Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. The said scheme is meant for the hardworking, meritorious students having financial constraints. Students working under the scheme are provided with the remuneration of Rs. 50/- per hour for their work. Students are required to work for maximum of 3 hours per day as per the guidelines under the said scheme. Generally, students are allotted the work in office or in library. This also help the administrative staff to seek timely assistance in relation to data entry, filing, scanning, book stalking etc. Navishka Boyawar, Srushti Kadak, Charul Pande, Bhumika Varma, Shalini Mavchi, Akash Alkunte, from I – B.A. LL.B and Sandeep Tawale from I – LL.B participated in this scheme in the current academic year. The students found that, working under the scheme helps them in varied ways.

Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil Earn and Learn Scheme is a Nobel initiative undertaken by the university and colleges for providing financial assistance to needy students. It is based on the self-efforts and involvement of students. Remuneration obtained by such students is utilized by them to pay the examination fees, mess charges, stationary, bus travelling expenses, minor medical expenses etc. working under the scheme also help students to inculcate respect for any sort of work. Students also learn to manage time and prioritize their work and responsibilities like regular lectures, study hours, working hours and internship and household responsibilities. In this way the scheme is successfully implemented in the college by Students’ Development officer.
