MoU with Baya Karve Women’s Study and Research Centre

" Baya Karve Women’s Study and Research Centre is an unit of parent body, Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha. The Centre invokes the ideals set by Baya Karve, core area is to focus on Women empowerment.

The Centre is involved in teaching – learning, Trainings and Workshops, Community based initiatives, Research based activities that are helpful for women and enhancement in social health in general. . DES SNFLC has entered into MoU with Baya Karve Women’s Study and Research Centre On 22nd August 2024 for collaboration in the area of research, workshops regarding gender sensitization, Psychological first aid etc. The centre also runs a flagship project-Visava, which is one stop help centre providing Legal assistance, and Psycho-social counseling facility free of cost to victims of domestic violence and other types of abuse. SNFLC college faculty and students would contribute in their endeavor by providing legal expertise." Thank you.
