In the present times, the world is exposed to and brazen out with tremendous changes due to
multifaceted and intricate situations. No country can be free from the impact and the effect of
these changes. Society in-turn has to respond either by choice or by necessity or by both, with
appropriate legal framework, policies and programmes.
Considering diversities of India, which is developing and multicultural democracy the task of
social transformation by bringing about appropriate changes is stupendous and complex. In
prevailing conditions such as enormous population, pluralism in religion, language, ethnic groups
and regions, etc. the task is onerous. Keeping in mind all these aspects and what Victor Hugo
says that, “an invasion of army can be resisted, but not an idea whose time has come,” D.E.S.
Shri. Navalmal Firodia Law College was established with the vision of imparting globalised legal
education with the view to producing world class professionals, scholars and academicians in
law. The vision of DES SNFLC is to fulfil this need by equipping their students and faculty with
knowledge and skills. DES SNFLC in these 18 years has to a great extent tried to achieve its
vision by
