LEGAL RESEARCH CELL

EVENT: AVISHKAR 2024
DATE: 27 th September 2024

We are glad to announce that the Avishkar Competition was successfully coordinated and organised by DES’ Shri Navalmal Firodia Law College. According to the guidance of IQAC, Savitribai Phule Pune University, registrations were invited from students under two categories: UG and PG. A workshop on research methodology and orientation for the research project competition for the guidance of students was conducted on 21 st September 2024. The resource person for the workshop was Adv. Shrirang Verma. The workshop was followed by orientation for the competition and a Question and answer session, where many students' doubts were addressed.

The competition was organised on 27 th September 2024. The following dignitaries graced the occasion as judges for the competition.

1. Dr Swati Gajendra Shinde, Assistant Professor, M. C. E. Society's A. K. K. New Law Academy, Pune.

2. Dr Pradip Tambe, Assistant Professor, MM Shankarrao Chavan Law College, Pune

3. Dr. Santosh Dnyandev Sabale, Assistant Professor in Centre for Educational Studies, Indian Institute of Education (IIE), Pune

Adv. Ashok Palande, Vice Chairman, GB & Council, DES and Dr Sunita Adhav, Principal DES SNFLC felicitated judges in a formal Ceremony. Students were very enthusiastic to participate in the competition. After the conclusion of the competition, feedbacks were also given by judges to students. Students selected for the further level of the competition are

b. Prachi Singh ( BA LLB 4 th Year)

2. PG Category
a. Harsha Mishra (LLM 1 st Year)
b. Harshavardhan Dixit (LLM 1 st Year)

We wish them all the best for the next round of the competition. This competition has been a great learning experience for students and will encourage them to take up more research activities.
