On January 26th, Shri Navalmal Firodia Law College organized a Poster Making Competition with the theme centered around the environment. Held on Republic Day, the event aimed to celebrate both the spirit of patriotism and environmental awareness among students.

Objectives:
1. To provide students with a platform to express their creativity and artistic talents.
2. To raise awareness about environmental issues through visual communication.
3. To commemorate Republic Day with a meaningful and educational activity.

Activities:
The Poster Making Competition featured students showcasing their artistic skills while addressing environmental themes. Participants were provided with art supplies and a designated space to create their posters within a specified time frame. The college is equipped with a total of seven toilets, distributed as follows:
- 3 male toilets
- 3 female toilets
- 1 staff room toilet

Average water consumption per flush = 7 liters
Total water consumption for toilet flushing per day = (3 male toilets + 3 female toilets + 1 staff room toilet) * 7 liters

2. Water Coolers:
Three water coolers are installed across the college campus.
Average water consumption per water cooler per day = B liters
Total water consumption for water coolers per day = 3 water coolers * B liters

3. Plant Watering:
The college waters 40 to 50 plants daily.

The Environment Cell of DES's Shri Navalmal Firodia Law College (SNFLC) organized a one-day trek to Raireshwar Fort on Tuesday, September 24, 2024.
To promote environmental awareness and provide an opportunity for adventure and team-building among participants. The one-day trek to Raireshwar Fort aimed to foster environmental consciousness while providing an exhilarating experience for participants. This initiative reflects the Environment Cell's commitment to promoting sustainability and outdoor education.

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Event

The National Service Scheme (NSS) department of DES's Shri Navalmal Firodia Law College, Pune, in collaboration with the Environment Cell, organized a Swachh Bharat Abhiyan event on October 1, 2024. To promote cleanliness, hygiene, and environmental awareness among students and the community.

All students are encouraged to actively participate in this initiative.The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan event aims to foster a culture of cleanliness and environmental responsibility among students. Additionally, the college invites students to showcase their achievements, promoting excellence and recognition.

The objective of the tree plantation drive was to promote environmental conservation and create a greener campus. Ten plants were planted across the college campus. The Principal, Faculty members, students, and Non-Teaching staff participated in the event. Students Participants were encouraged to take care of the planted saplings.
The tree plantation drive was a success, promoting environmental conservation and community involvement. We look forward to continuing our efforts towards a greener and sustainable future.
